Popular site Wonder Bingo today announced that it would be closing immediately. When players try to log on to the Wonder Bingo site they are now greeted with a Wonder Bingo closure message which directs players to access their accounts at Bingo Palace run by Parley.
Things weren't looking great for Wonder bingo after the closure of it's free bingo Facebook app in March 2011 and it seems that the site never recovered from this. The site then moved from it's own stand-alone software to The Gaming Network. The problems began for Wonder Bingo when they couldn't convert their popular Facebook app players, which at one point was around half a million, to their pay for bingo rooms.
It's sad news to see a popular bingo site close which had done well in the past but you never know we could see the brand reform in the future.
